Bon Iver Reveals New Album Titled ‘SABLE, fABLE’

      Bon Iver will launch their new album ‘SABLE, fABLE’ on April 11th.

      Justin Vernon made his comeback last autumn with the ‘SABLE’ EP, which received widespread praise. His upcoming studio album builds upon this work, integrating and expanding on the themes of the EP.

      ‘SABLE, fABLE’ will be released on April 11th and will include 12 tracks, with the new song ‘Everything Is Peaceful Love’ debuting on Valentine's Day. A full music video for this track is on the way, directed by John Wilson.

      Produced by Justin Vernon and Jim-E Stack, most of the recording for ‘SABLE, fABLE’ took place at Vernon’s April Base studio in Wisconsin—after a period of renovation, this is one of its first projects since reopening.

      The initial inspiration for the album emerged on 2.22.22 when Danielle Haim was a guest, and the trio found themselves snowed in for several days, during which they created the album track ‘If Only I Could Wait’.

      Justin Vernon will delve into ‘SABLE, fABLE’ on February 21st during a discussion with acclaimed author and broadcaster Krista Tippett.

      This event will conclude the annual On Air Fest in Brooklyn, NY, with the conversation streamed live through KCRW’s internet radio broadcast, and afterward will be accessible on On Being.
