The news of the producer's death has been verified by various sources; his real name was Rodney Pryce. It is believed that he suffered a stroke a few years prior and faced several health challenges during that time.

As one of grime's most influential beat makers, Terror Danjah played a crucial role in defining the genre's sound during its early days. Known for his distinctive ‘gremlin’ sound, he could transition from intense, harsh beats to more melodic and soulful tracks.

Much of his work from that foundational period remained widely used, as numerous MCs incorporated his beats into radio performances, laying the groundwork for grime's inception.

In collaboration with the respected electronic label Planet Mu, the 2009 album ‘Gremlinz’ compiled many of those powerful beats and marked the beginning of a lasting creative alliance between the label and the artist.

While he was often linked with the gritty 140 bpm sound of grime, Terror Danjah also exhibited a gentler side, favoring soulful vocals and merging square wave electronics with R&B sounds in his Rhythm & Grime productions.

MC and TV host Big Zuu remembered his long-time friend, saying: “Rest In Peace Terror Danjah, a truly kind individual who always had time for others and wanted to see us succeed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.”

Plastician remarked: “RIP Terror Danjah. It’s sad to see this news. He was an incredibly talented producer and a wonderful person. His work is always in my collection and will remain there.”
