      “I’m With You” exemplifies this; released in mid-January as the final single from Alberts’ seventh studio album, New Love (set to release on February 21st), it is an intimate and sunlit celebration. Through a blend of sparkling acoustic guitar strumming, enthusiastic hand clapping, driving drums, and warm harmonies, he captures the “simple, yet meaningful” moments of life – translating their beauty into music filled with essence, emotional depth, liveliness, and warmth.

      It’s a gentle, dreamy folk-pop daydream, embodying the essence of a Ziggy Alberts song. “Love, in its purest form, has an incredible ability to bring us back to ourselves,” he shares with Atwood Magazine. “This song is about embracing that with open arms.”

      “It’s a genuinely joyful song,” he adds. “It’s not overly sentimental; it’s simply relaxed and uplifting, which is exactly what I cherish about it. I began [writing it] at home in Australia in late 2023 and continued working on it backstage during the Rewind World Tour. I recall jamming it in our common area at The Forum Melbourne when Nathan Ball lit up and exclaimed, ‘This is a winner.’ That moment confirmed it for me. The uplifting melody in the chorus – ‘I’m with you’ – felt like uncovering something extraordinary.”
