Alt-pop artist Luvcat has released a new Valentine’s tribute titled ‘Love & Money’.
Released on February 14th, this latest single is an energetic pop track, with lyrics that delve into an all-consuming love affair. Inspired by the flame of passion, Luvcat draws parallels to Tommy and Pam, as the song narrates the experience of creating an NSFW video with a partner to support their luxurious lifestyle.
At its core, there’s a playful and mischievous vibe, imbued with an innocent charm reminiscent of romcoms while engaging with OnlyFans.
“‘Love & Money’ is a love letter to a passionate, all-encompassing romance reminiscent of Pam and Tommy set in the city,” Luvcat shares. “I wrote it after meeting a bartender at a pub, experiencing love at first sight, and embarking on an unforgettable night of fun in London.”
Now available, the video portrays Luvcat's real life – featuring an old friend and capturing the essence of being a newcomer in The Big City. Keep an eye out for allusions to iconic romantic films such as Candy, Notting Hill, and Once.
She adds, “We filmed in all my favorite spots and aimed to depict the whirlwind of two naive Scousers entwined in a beautiful, sleazy love story set in London.”
