Renowned grillz artist Dolly Cohen has teamed up with Chivas Regal to produce a sculptural work of art in honor of the whisky brand's XV Bottle.
Celebrated for its innovative campaigns and for introducing the first luxury blended Scotch 25 years ago, Chivas Regal has partnered with various artists that exemplify the brand's pioneering spirit. This week, Chivas Regal has revealed its collaboration with the acclaimed Parisian jewelry designer Dolly Cohen, who is transforming dental art into whisky art by enveloping Chivas Regal XV bottles in gold cages. The focal point is an extraordinary bottle cage crafted entirely from 14-karat gold, valued at £18,000. This sculptural piece is showcased at Selfridges, along with a very limited edition of 200 bottles, each housed in a metal cage.
“I was excited to expand the boundaries of my work for this collaboration with Chivas Regal,” notes Dolly Cohen, known for her custom grillz and high-profile clientele including A$AP Rocky, Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Madonna. “Shifting from detailed jewelry to a sculptural work was an exhilarating and transformative experience. I had to completely reassess my technique, treating the project like a sculpture by shaping, refining, and experimenting with designs until I found the ideal balance. Using gold in this manner allowed me to apply my organic, meticulous style to a larger scale, resulting in a piece that truly merges my artistry with the bold elegance of Chivas Regal. I’m incredibly proud of the outcome.”
Leading the campaign wearing pink-studded gold grillz is London-based artist Bree Runway, who has long admired Dolly Cohen: “This project has been such a joyful, bold, and boundary-pushing experience, blending different worlds wonderfully. I love being a muse and am captivated by Dolly’s iconic legacy and her daring designs.”
