UK singer-songwriter Luke Sital-Singh has unveiled his latest album, ‘Fool’s Spring’.
This new release marks the artist's fifth studio album, which sees Luke finding comfort in family life. After relocating from the UK to the American West Coast, personal events brought him back home.
Following an unsuccessful attempt to start a family in Los Angeles, Luke and his wife returned to the UK in hopes of better fortune. With the support of close friends and family, they welcomed a son, and the life changes brought on by fatherhood significantly influence the new album.
“So much was happening in my life that this record seemed to unfold slowly in the background,” Luke explains. “I didn't realize how much I had accomplished until I looked back and thought: ‘Oh, half the record is actually done…’ There was a great deal of uncertainty and doubt during the creation of this album, but also a lot of joy, because I was completely on my own. I was responsible for every decision.”
With his soothing songwriting style, Luke draws from Americana, pop, folk, and various influences to shape his unique sound. Reflecting on the personal transformation he experienced, he states: “As the album is being released, my son is sleeping in my arms. I can feel the impact of how life has changed – these songs, written before everything was altered, now resonate in a whole new context.”
Tune in now.
