Blondshell returns with another preview of her upcoming sophomore album ‘If You Asked For A Picture,’ set to release on May 2 through Partisan Records. This new track, ‘Two Times,’ presents a different angle compared to her previous single ‘T&A,’ which was an anthemic piece with a grand chorus. In contrast, ‘Two Times’ showcases Blondshell, also known as Sabrina Teitelbaum, in a more raw and heartfelt manner as she reflects on how contemporary media and society distort our understanding of romantic relationships. She shared, “I feel like I’m always seeing movies and shows where conflict is the only way love is expressed. A lot of stories depict how one person has to struggle significantly to earn another's love, making the relationship seem valuable.” She continued, “This song essentially poses the question: what if the relationship is just solid? What if it’s simply good, and healthy? Does that lessen its worth? It’s a painful question because it really probes how capable you are of being in a good relationship. But in this sense, it’s also a love song.” You can watch the lyric video for ‘Two Times’ and revisit our review of Blondshell's self-titled debut album below. Additionally, Sabrina is gearing up for an extensive tour later this year that will take her Blondshell live show across cities in North America, Europe, and the UK, with a second London night at Electric Brixton added due to popular demand.
