LCD Soundsystem Announces Residency at O2 Academy Brixton

      27 · 02 · 2025

LCD Soundsystem has announced a residency at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

After wrapping up a series of shows in New York during November and December, the band hinted at a live project across the Atlantic. They illuminated the DFA Records logo on various landmarks in London, seemingly signaling a venture in their beloved city.

The band has a strong connection to London, a city that has welcomed LCD Soundsystem since their inception.

This residency has now been officially confirmed. LCD Soundsystem will perform a full residency at O2 Academy Brixton in June, with eight shows scheduled, including two early Sunday night performances from 5pm to 9pm.

These concerts come as James Murphy continues to tease new material from LCD Soundsystem. The band released the single ‘x-ray eyes’ in November, marking their first new music since 2022’s ‘New Body Rhumba.’

Tickets for these upcoming performances will go on sale to the public at 9:00 am on Friday, March 7th, available through aegp.uk/lcd-soundsystem.
