Berlin-based artist Tara Nome Doyle has released a new single titled ‘Heaven In Disguise’.
The Irish-Norwegian songwriter is set to return this Spring, with her new album ‘Ekko’ scheduled for release on April 11th through Fat Cat Records. Collaborating with Grammy Award-winning producer Simon Goff, the album intertwines Greek mythology to explore a series of songs focused on personal development.
As she expresses…
“With this album, I aimed to peel back the layers of doubt and rediscover my authentic voice. It’s about reconnecting with myself and crafting music that feels sincere, otherworldly, and cathartic. It’s not about reflecting what others wish to see, but rather what I need to reveal to them.”
The beautiful new track ‘Heaven In Disguise’ plays on an extended pun, reinforcing the theme of personal growth, with Tara’s clever humor shining a light on her journey of development.
Tara explains, “as a writer, I appreciate the double entendre in ‘heaven in disguise’ which can also be interpreted as ‘heaven in the skies’ (especially with an Irish accent), further emphasizing the shift from an idealized, external belief (heaven in the skies) to recognizing that true salvation is found within (heaven in disguise).”
