A sharp collaboration from two dynamic forces...
The Moonlandingz and Nadine Shah come together on their new single ‘Roustabout’.
The underground project makes a comeback with their upcoming album ‘No Rocket Required’ set to release on April 25th. The main production duo, supported by Johnny Rocket, aka Lias Saoudi, has just released new music featuring vocals from Nadine Shah.
Recognized as a significant influence in British music, her contributions harmonize perfectly with Johnny Rocket, while the lyrics appear to portray a (previously?) cherished indie figure, highlighting their current sorrow.
Regarding the track, Johnny Rocket (aka Lias Saoudi) mentions, “It’s a fictional re-imagining of the intricacies, emotions, and bravery that seemed to reside within an unnamed celibate, moon-faced indie icon from the 80s!”
Nadine expresses, “I’d love to see this song join the ranks of the greatest karaoke duets, alongside Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers’ ‘Islands in the Stream’.”
Director Jeanie Crystal returns to create a new video – check it out now.
