Jordan Rakei has released a new track titled ‘The Seize.’

Originally from New Zealand and now based in London, the artist is set to enhance his album ‘The Loop’ with a Deluxe Edition scheduled for release on April 4th.

Over the past year, Jordan has been involved in a year-long residency at Abbey Road, one of the world’s most renowned studios.

Drawing inspiration from his experiences, some of the outcomes from these sessions will feature on the upcoming Deluxe Edition.

The new song ‘The Seize’ emerges from his time at Abbey Road and carries a message of self-assurance. Jordan’s unique journey in music has occasionally fostered feelings of inadequacy, and this track seeks to address that.

As always, his soulful vocals shine, while the dynamic arrangement delivers an energetic message.

Reflecting on the song, Jordan Rakei states: “’The Seize’ was a commentary on feeling somewhat isolated in my artistic journey, particularly as an artist who moved to a new environment to create my own path. It’s centered on self-confidence and self-worth.”
