The iconic electronic label Planet Mu is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a distinctive new compilation.
Founded by the noteworthy artist Mike Paradinas, Planet Mu has been at the leading edge of digital innovation for many years. As it reaches its 30-year milestone, the label will unveil a special anniversary compilation.
‘Planet Mu 30’ captures the essence of the label on this significant occasion, presenting new tracks from Venetian Snares, Luke Vibert, Ital Tek, FaltyDL, and Mike Paradinas himself under his alias, µ-Ziq.
Emerging artists like Jlin (including a track from her new Project at the Sydney Opera House) will be featured alongside established names such as Traxman, DJ Manny, RP Boo, Jana Rush, and Elmoe.
The compilation also hints at unreleased tracks from new roster additions, including Nik Colk Void, Rev, BAE BAE, Ship Sket, Slikback, and James Krivchenia.
Scheduled for release on May 9th, the compilation is currently available for pre-order.
In conjunction with the compilation, Planet Mu will throw a special 30th birthday celebration at Corsica Studios in London on May 3rd.
