DIY digital cover star Matt Maltese has unveiled ‘Pined For You My Whole Life’, a deeply romantic offering from his upcoming sixth album, ‘Hers’, which is set to release on 16th May through The Orchard. This new track follows his recent releases ‘Anytime, Anyplace, Anyhow’ and ‘Always Some MF’, marking it as the third single from his new LP. Matt describes it as “possibly the most yearning I’ve expressed in a song, which is quite a statement.” He continues, stating: “Creating this song was truly enjoyable, influenced heavily by the Motown and soul music that shaped my upbringing. I take great joy in crafting boldly emotional expressions of love through the lens of American-oriented soul music.” Additionally, Matt has announced an extensive Autumn/Winter tour schedule, aptly titled the ‘Tour For You My Whole Life’, featuring over 40 shows across the UK, Europe, and North America, including a performance at London’s renowned Roundhouse. Tickets for these newly-announced dates will be available for purchase starting at 10am local time on Friday, 21st March. It’s undeniable that on this debut album, Welly truly goes all out.
Changes in the lineup and long breaks might have permanently disrupted The Horrors. However, their sixth album, ‘Night Life,’ showcases their comeback as a more focused and powerful band.
It might not be the most cheerful thing to listen to, but it is incredibly powerful and significant.
Many international names will be traveling to the Swiss town of Nyon this July.
Vundabar have consistently been hard to define. Their guitar music is both striking and strangely misaligned with the surrounding influences.
Softly transformative, guiding patience and growth.
He has also revealed an extensive schedule of tour dates for 2025 throughout the UK, Europe, and North America.
