Samia is back with two incredible new singles for the price of one.
The songwriter has completed her upcoming album, which follows her breakthrough release ‘Honey’ from 2023. Set to be released on April 25th through Grand Jury Music, ‘Bloodless’ sees Samia broadening her artistic horizons and embracing new inspirations.
This instinct-driven method is prominently featured in her new double-single, with ‘Hole In A Frame’ offering a powerful representation of Sid Vicious striking a wall at Cain’s Ballroom in 1978.
In contrast, ‘Pants’ is a much more extensive composition, a seven-minute exploration that showcases significant mastery.
Sarah Ritter directed both music videos, with the ‘Pants’ video featuring actor Fred Hechinger (White Lotus, Nickel Boys, Gladiator II).
Samia shares her thoughts:
“I chose to pair these tracks because they embody opposing instincts. ‘Hole in a Frame’ reveals a fascination with vanishing and the strength of absence, whereas ‘Pants’ reflects on embracing an irretrievable self, including all social circumstances. They transition from a comfort found in the potential of emptiness to the truths of existence.”
