Bellah Mae Excels with ‘Bad Day To Be My Ex’

      She's embracing her self-worth...

Bella Mae has released her energetic new single ‘Bad Day To Be My Ex.’

At 23, the emerging artist had a significant year in 2024, with her EP ‘Never Waste A Heartache’ marking a breakthrough for the talent from Solihull, Birmingham.

After being invited to Nashville, also known as Music City, for a series of recording sessions, her vibrant new single takes shape from those experiences.

‘Bad Day To Be My Ex’ exudes confidence, blending polished R&B elements with her strong pop charm.

She sings: “It’s a damn shame that I make you live in regret / Looking so good baby no way you can handle it / Looking like a Gen Z Pamela Anderson…”

Available now, it’s sure to please fans. She reflects: “I’ve really discovered that I don’t always have to be tough — I can remain soft. But if you break my heart… I’ll pen a brutally honest song about you. ‘Bad Day To Be My Ex’ exemplifies that.”

The mention of being a “Gen-Z Pamela Anderson” was intentional. “I admire how Pamela has taken charge of her career despite the challenges she’s faced in the industry. The same goes for Dolly Parton. These are formidable women who have had to constantly validate themselves.”
