Returning indie icons The Maccabees will be performing a series of intimate warm-up shows this summer.
The band disbanded in 2017 after a series of remarkable performances at London’s Alexandra Palace, arguably choosing to part ways while at the height of their success. Since then, members have pursued individual projects, but fans have longed for their reunion.
Now, that wish has been realized. The Maccabees are set to perform at All Points East this summer, taking the stage at London’s Victoria Park alongside a lineup of close friends.
Additionally, The Maccabees have announced a few intimate warm-up performances – they will be in Dublin on August 17th, at Glasgow’s renowned Barrowlands on August 20th, and at the O2 Victoria Warehouse on August 21st.
Guitarist Felix White expresses, “We can’t wait to be The Maccabees again! These shows are going to be incredibly special, as we perform songs that mean so much to our lives, in the UK & Ireland leading up to the All Points East Festival. It’s something we never thought would happen again, and now that it is, we’re committed to making it memorable. We’ll see you there.”
