Loyle Carner is back! The London rapper has released not just one, but two new tracks to mark his return to music. These singles are his first studio releases since his last album, ‘hugo,’ which came out in 2022. The A-side, ‘all I need,’ showcases the celebrated artist blending his poetic rap style with his passion for alternative music, drawing inspiration from artists such as Big Thief, Idles, and Fontaines DC. On the B-side, ‘in my mind,’ Carner steps beyond his usual realm and showcases his singing abilities, representing a significant shift from his typical featured artist collaborations. This track was notably recorded with his young son on his shoulders, symbolizing the lyrical tribute to generational ties with men before and after him. In addition to his new music, Carner has announced he will be headlining The Other Stage at the Glastonbury Festival on June 27th. He has also revealed his acting debut in the BBC drama Mint, directed by BAFTA-nominated Charlotte Regan. Fans of Carner certainly have plenty to look forward to with this new chapter for the artist! You can check out the two new tracks below.
In addition to the impressive performance by the Black Country duo, the evening will also include one of the brand’s signature beer workshops.
Canadian singer/songwriter Lucette provides a track-by-track exploration of her intense, candid EP 'Nice Girl From the Suburbs' — a collection of six “self-deprecating anthems” that examine the complexities of experiencing a range of emotions, including heartbreak, imposter syndrome, emotional struggle, personal growth, and grace.
Lead singer Jarvis Cocker appeared with Lauren Laverne on BBC 6Music this morning to premiere the record.
The artist from London has also announced that he will be the headliner for the Other Stage at Glastonbury this summer.
