Pulp has made their eagerly awaited comeback to music with ‘Spike Island’, their first single in 24 years. Lead vocalist Jarvis Cocker and his bandmates appeared with Lauren Laverne on BBC 6Music this morning (10th April) to debut the track. The single is released alongside the announcement of a new album titled ‘More’, set to be released on 6th June through Rough Trade. The news quickly led to a flood of messages from fans, with one calling the new single “perfection.” During the broadcast, Laverne asked Cocker about the possibility of performing at Glastonbury, but the frontman swiftly dismissed any speculation, stating that the band had “no plans” to return to Worthy Farm in the near future. Following the release of their new album, they will embark on a series of headline shows across the UK and Ireland starting on 7th June.
