The instrumental quartet Yuuf has joined Ninja Tune’s Technicolour label.
This outernational band originates from four different countries: Switzerland, Denmark, France, and England, yet they blend together effortlessly. Their evocative instrumental pieces draw inspiration from the energy of club culture while employing a distinctly unique approach.
Collaborating with Ninja Tune’s Technicolour label, their new EP ‘Alma’s Cove’ is scheduled for release on June 25th. Influenced by a wide range of sources, from classical Spanish guitar to Studio Ghibli soundtracks, the group states: “We naturally merge our diverse musical influences from across the globe to shape our sound.”
Now available, the title track exemplifies what makes Yuuf so captivating – it's an aural adventure, characterized by sharp, melodic guitar lines and an infectious groove that envelops you like the rising tide.
The band describes it: “The listener is wandering through nature, absorbing the sounds and sights while enjoying its natural beauty.”
