DAYTIMERS is set to launch their debut album ‘Alterations’ later this year.

Founded in 2020, the collective consists of DJs, producers, and creatives from the South Asian community, with a goal of reviving the energy and spirit of the iconic daytime parties from the 90s.

DAYTIMERS has rapidly gained momentum, evolving as a concept and platform that has significantly influenced culture in various ways.

After hosting a month-long Friday residency at Jazz Café in London, the British collective has announced their plans for a full-length album.

‘Alterations’ will feature 10 tracks, blending new producers with samples reminiscent of their youth. This project is a collaborative effort with Sony Music India and Relentless Records, where the studio team delves into their archives.

Provhat Rahman, founder of DAYTIMERS, states, “Through the reimagining of iconic music from the South Asian catalog, Alterations creates a patchwork of club cultures and subcultures viewed through the lens of the diaspora. It celebrates the fusion of cultural heritage with our club experiences. It’s thrilling to see these club tracks showcased this way!”

The first release is from Baalti, a producer/DJ duo rooted in NYC and originally from India, who present ‘Tere Bina’.
