Raw, intense rock 'n' roll...
His Lordship returns with their new single "I Fly Planes Into Hurricanes."
The band fuses the electric essence of primal rock 'n' roll with a fresh perspective, reinterpreting the leather-clad edge reminiscent of Gene Vincent for the 21st century. Comprising essentially of a duo – James Walborne on guitar and vocals, and Kristoffer Sonne on drums – they met while collaborating with Chrissie Hynde, who encouraged them to create something of their own.
Thus, His Lordship was formed. Following an acclaimed debut album, the duo is now set to unveil their second release.
Scheduled for June 20th, "Bored Animal" was recorded swiftly, taking only two weeks at Edwyn Collins’ studio in the Scottish Highlands.
Featuring a succinct 11 tracks – including an instrumental and an unusual vocal performance from Sonne – the album is highlighted by the electrifying new single "I Fly Planes Into Hurricanes."
With powerful, incisive rock 'n' roll, His Lordship infuses each project with palpable intensity. Finished in just two minutes, it offers a thrilling, adrenaline-pumping experience that can only be created by these two artists.
