Folk Bitch Trio is set to release their debut album ‘Now Would Be A Good Time.’
The trio from Melbourne/Naarm, consisting of Gracie Sinclair (she/her), Jeanie Pilkington (she/her), and Heide Peverelle (they/them), has cultivated a tightly-knit creative atmosphere, resulting in a unique sound.
Signed to Jagjaguwar, Folk Bitch Trio is in London this week – they will perform a sold-out show at St Pancras Old Church tonight (May 14th), before heading to The Great Escape.
Their debut album ‘Now Would Be A Good Time’ will be released this summer, arriving on July 25th after recording sessions in Auckland with producer Tom Healy (Tiny Ruins, Marlon Williams) during winter 2024.
Jeanie Pilkington shared, “We all reminisced about our love for music as children, and how we envisioned it being a significant part of our lives. But for me, at least, the future felt somewhat mysterious.”
The album is now available for pre-order, with the recent release of the track ‘The Actor’; their new single ‘Cathode Ray’ is also available, showcasing a remarkable blend of three distinct creative voices.
