The new single ‘Broken Rib’ is making waves...
French artist Jehnny Beth is set to release her new album ‘You Heartbreaker, You’ on August 29th.
A true multi-talented individual, Jehnny Beth gained significant recognition as the frontwoman of Savages before returning to her solo career.
The upcoming album ‘You Heartbreaker, You’ will be released on August 29th, following extensive sessions with her long-time collaborator Johnny Hostile at their 20L07 studio in France.
“We're living in dark times, filled with drama and brutal tragedy. It has become apparent to me that in these moments, we either learn to scream powerfully or we learn to whisper,” Jehnny shares about the record.
The new single ‘Broken Rib’ sets the tone—it's an intense performance enveloped in darkness, propelled by her piercing vocals and strong sense of purpose.
“We learn to breathe with a broken rib,” she sings. Jehnny adds in a note: “I understood that if I was going to sing again, it had to begin with a scream,” reflecting on the track.
Once again, Jehnny Beth and Johnny Hostile collaborate to create the music video—check it out below.
