Ferman, who was the rhythm guitarist for garage rock band Ora Violet—known for performances at BST Hyde Park, All Points East, and a sold-out show at London’s Old Blue Last—has announced the release of his debut EP, 'Poser,' now available on all streaming platforms.
'Poser' features a collection of five rock and roll tracks that were written and recorded in London over the past four years alongside his longtime friends and collaborators, William Durzu and Adam Liston.
Growing up in a quiet town in the North East of Italy during the 80s and 90s, Nick always aspired to break free from its limited mindset and dreamed of becoming a singer, musician, and artist. However, despite touring Europe with a mandolin orchestra, he never found the courage to pursue his own vision. It took over three decades and encouragement from his best friend and producer William Durzu to motivate him to "dust off those three chords" and attempt songwriting.
“Each song came to me very naturally by sitting at home with a guitar, experimenting with chords and melodies. They narrate the stories of different people; they aren't strictly about me, but they all feel personal. I suppose one knows they are ready when the time is right,” said Ferman.
Track list:
- Poser
- Postal Blowfish (Guided By Voices cover)
- Rock & Roll Dream
- Tell Me I’m Great
- Amusement Park
Tracks 1 and 2 were produced by Adam Liston and mixed by William Durzu, while tracks 3, 4, and 5 were produced and mixed by William Durzu.
Tune in now...
