The Black Keys will release their new album, ‘No Rain, No Flowers,’ on August 8th.
This marks their 13th studio album, recorded at Easy Eye Sound Studios in Nashville. The band produced the album themselves, emphasizing their collaborative spirit by inviting musicians who are primarily known as songwriters to join them in the studio.
Set to be released on August 8th, the album features guests such as Rick Nowels, whom Dan Auerbach met while working on Lana Del Rey’s ‘Ultraviolence’ album.
Dan explains, “We had never really collaborated with a keyboard player or someone who composes on piano like he does, but it clicked right from the start.”
Patrick adds, “We aimed to go directly to the source—working alongside those recognized for their songwriting. Daniel Tashian was one of the first people I encountered after moving to Nashville, and we’ve been fans of Scott Storch for ages.”
Dan concludes, “This entire album was crafted with a lot of love and effort. We hope you can feel that.”
