UK-based group The Youth Play has released their new single ‘A Fair Life’.
The band has performed at various support slots throughout London and beyond, including shows with favorite acts like Been Stellar, Wings Of Desire, and October Drift.
Vocalist Diego Bracho, a Latin American scientist, brings a unique perspective to their noise rock sound.
Now residing in the UK, Diego leads The Youth Play, inspired by the intense noise rock of My Bloody Valentine and the ethereal sounds of Slowdive.
The new track ‘A Fair Life’ features a subtle Latin touch, with lyrics referencing a song Diego has cherished since his childhood.
Diego shares, “The song was created about a year and a half ago, and my primary inspiration for the lyrics came from one of my favorite Spanish songs, ‘En Algun Lugar’ by Duncan Dhu. It addresses the decisions made by leaders that don't prioritize the majority's interests and emphasizes the importance of continuing to live, expressing one's beliefs, and advocating for change when necessary.”
