Grammy-winning Colombian artist KAROL G elevates the stakes with her new summer hit, ‘LATINA FOREVER’.
Produced by Mazzarri and Misha, ‘LATINA FOREVA’ serves as both a celebration and affirmation of Latina identity. KAROL G passionately honors her heritage, culture, and primary audience with this reggaeton-infused anthem that draws inspiration from 2000s Música Urbana while also looking toward the future.
‘LATINA FOREVA’ comes after the success of KAROL G’s Netflix documentary TOMORROW WAS BEAUTIFUL, which topped the charts in 19 countries, including the United States, Colombia, Mexico, and Spain. The singer released her fourth studio album ‘Mañana Será Bonito’ in 2023, making history as the first all-Spanish language album by a woman to achieve the number one spot on the US Billboard 200.
The video for ‘LATINA FOREVA’, directed by Pedro Artola, is set against the snowy backdrop of Mammoth Lakes in California. The striking contrast between the freezing surroundings and the vibrant energy of KAROL G and her all-Latino cast, which features the esteemed Flamenco guitarist Jose Del Tomate, creates a vivid and prideful visual experience.
