Sophia Be Releases Ballad ‘I Still Love You’

The song was crafted in a single session and felt organic. It originated from a deep place of emotion and sincerity.

Mexican-Canadian artist Sophia Be, who is based in Los Angeles, returns with her new single, 'I Still Love You'.

This poignant pop ballad, filled with resonant piano melodies and sweeping orchestral strings, encapsulates the bittersweet pain of losing someone still cherished. Created in one take, Sophia’s vocals soar above the stripped-back production, enhancing the emotional clarity she aimed to express.

"I wrote this song on the day my ex relocated to another country," Sophia reveals. "We had a straightforward approach to creating the music. I sat at the piano with a friend, and we recorded every note. Once the piano was set, my friend Ben took charge of the production for the main musical elements."

Sophia Be started her journey as a background vocalist before stepping into the limelight following a performance with Tones And I at Triple J’s Like A Version show in Sydney, Australia. Since launching her solo career in 2022 with 'I’m So In Love', she has released a series of singles and is currently gearing up for her debut live performance in Los Angeles.
