Hard Life has just released a brand new single! The track, titled 'y3llow bike,' is the latest offering from the band's upcoming album, 'onion,' which is set to drop on July 18th via Island EMI. 'y3llow bike' narrates the story of having a crush, according to lead singer Murray Matravers. "[It’s] the classic tale of falling for a friend. There’s that ongoing struggle between wanting to preserve the friendship and managing the delicate ego that fears rejection." The new single is accompanied by a video filmed during Murray's time in Japan, where the concept for the album was originally conceived. ‘Y3llow bike’ follows the lead single 'othello' and the Shrek-inspired track 'OGRE,' both of which will be featured on the new album. You can listen to ‘y3llow bike’ here: The band, formerly known as Easy Life before a protracted trademark dispute with EasyJet, is essentially launching their debut project, despite already having two albums.
