Just moments ago, Peter Doherty completed a solo performance, but he couldn’t resist a spontaneous Libertines jam.
Carl Barat watched from the side of the stage until his bandmate encouraged him to join in. They played several Libertines hits, with songs like ‘Don’t Look Back Into The Sun’ igniting cheers from the crowd.
A powerful rendition of ‘Time For Heroes’ followed, after which Peter Doherty concluded with a solo folk-inspired number, taking a moment to acknowledge the efforts of Greenpeace.
The Libertines are set to perform at Glastonbury tomorrow (June 29th).
