Eliza Rose is gearing up to collaborate with the iconic dance label Defected for her upcoming single ‘Weekend’.
Having honed her skills in London’s club scene, Eliza Rose possesses a natural talent for turning dance music elements into exceptional club experiences. Her breakout hit ‘B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All)’ marked a significant milestone, soaring to No. 1 and featuring Intergalactic Criminal.
Since that moment, she has released a series of impressive singles, firmly establishing herself at the forefront of UK club culture.
For her next project, Eliza Rose is partnering with a celebrated name in British dance music – Defected.
Indeed, she will be joining the label for the new single release, with ‘Weekend’ set for release on July 4th.
Currently available for pre-order, she shares:
“I finally feel like I’m embarking on a new chapter and entering a really thrilling new era…”
‘Weekend’ was developed in collaboration with The Trip, and the rave production duo elevates Eliza’s vocals to new heights.
“I’m incredibly excited about the release of this track! It’s such a significant moment for me in many aspects; it’s been a while since I’ve had the opportunity to release music on my own terms, and I truly feel like I’m starting a new chapter in a really exciting era, exploring the sounds that I love. I’m so thrilled to share ‘Weekend’ with everyone; it’s a song about embracing freedom and letting go of inhibitions as the weekend draws near. I aimed to capture that exhilarating feeling of anticipation about the fun adventures myself and my fellow party-goers will have on Friday, Saturday, during summer, at festivals, and those long summer nights that blend into the day.”
Referring to her collaboration with Defected as the “cherry on a hedonistic cake,” Eliza Rose is also preparing for a special performance at Defected Croatia.
