To generate excitement for its newest campaign, New Balance has announced its latest ambassador: Rosalía.
Since her rise to fame with 2018’s ‘El Mal Querer’—which offers an artistic exploration of the Flamenco genre blending tradition, storytelling, and electronic elements—the Catalonian singer-songwriter has established herself as a pioneering figure in modern music. In fashion as well, she has adopted a progressive, creative approach, playing with textures, shapes, and influences on the main stage.
This time, the Grammy-winning artist collaborates with New Balance to introduce the brand’s newest model: the 204L. This all-suede, retro-inspired design features earthy, muted colors and brings back the early 2000s with its chunky sole and stitched overlays. Filmed in a cinematic five-part campaign, Rosalía begins her journey at New Balance's Boston headquarters, venturing into the streets of New York to deliver a mysterious package. This partnership highlights a bold, creative essence shared by both New Balance and Rosalía, demonstrating their strength in stepping outside their comfort zones.
Reflecting on her role as an ambassador, the visionary behind Motomami states: “My love for fashion and design has only deepened through the years.
