Tyler, the Creator is gearing up to launch his new album titled ‘Don’t Tap The Glass’.
The upcoming album was kept under wraps from nearly everyone until Tyler announced the title to the audience during his performance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Friday (July 18th).
Outside the venue, attentive fans noticed an art installation depicting a muscular figure encased in a transparent box — seemingly inspired by the album's cover art.
‘Don’t Tap The Glass’ is scheduled to drop on July 21st at 6am EST, which translates to 11am BST.
Over the weekend, Tyler shared a link to donttaptheglass.com, a site promoting the new album along with vinyl records, T-shirts, and hats featuring the album title.
This has led to intense speculation — Tyler refuted a leaked tracklist from Complex, stating, “FALSE NONE OF THESE PEOPLE ARE ON THIS, I DID NOT POST THIS INFO I DONT KNOW WHERE YOU GOT THIS FROM TO CONFIRM IT.”
Initial theories that ‘Don’t Tap The Glass’ would be a concept album have also been dismissed, with Tyler remarking: “yall better get them expectations and hopes down this aint no concept nothing.”
