Renowned British songwriter Jamie Woon has released two new tracks: ‘Heavy Going…’ and ‘A Velvet Rope’.
In his debut album ‘Mirrorwriting’, which came out in 2011, the artist skillfully blended club elements, bass sounds, and traditional songwriting styles.
Continuously impactful – his breakthrough single ‘Night Air’ continues to receive regular airplay on 6 Music – Jamie Woon is back with two fresh songs.
The new tracks, ‘Heavy Going…’ and ‘A Velvet Rope’, capture his after-hours magnetism, with a twilight vibe enhanced by his subtle vocals.
Jamie produced the tracks in partnership with Grammy-winning producer Martin Terefe, featuring Dan See on drums and Dave Okumu on guitar.
‘Heavy Going…’ is led by Jamie, while ‘A Velvet Rope’ was developed alongside Holly Walker and Terefe.
