Pop provocateur Kim Petras has made her return with a fresh single titled ‘Freak It’, a lively yet gritty track filled with hyper-pop elements and catchy melodies. Co-produced by Petras along with Nightfeelings, Margo XS, and Frost Children, this new release follows her 2023 albums ‘Feed The Beast’ and ‘Problématique’, last year's EP ‘Slut Pop Miami’, and her latest single ‘Polo’, which was released in June. Kim explained, “'Freak It' was intended to be the final track on the album, and that was it. But when I started performing it live, the fans went wild. Eventually, I had to give in. I created and produced it with my friends, which made the release even more enjoyable. I miss the excitement and joy of artists like LMFAO and Avicii, and honestly, I just want to go crazy at clubs this summer while listening to this song. The fans urging me to release it really helped me out; it was a divine moment in the studio that day.” Although the release of ‘Polo’ and her recent Pride event performances hinted at a “new era”, we are still uncertain about Petras’ next moves—stay tuned for more music, and in the meantime, check out ‘Freak It’ below.
