London rapper Knucks is back with his new single ‘Cut Knuckles’, offering a first glimpse of his soon-to-be-released album ‘A Fine African Man’.
This reflective track, enriched by the warmth of Knucks' smooth delivery, pays homage to his early years in Nigeria. The single provides a heartfelt and soulful introduction to ‘A Fine African Man’, a project that delves into the experiences of navigating two cultures as a first-generation British individual.
This release follows Knucks’ collaborative EP ‘Can’t Decide’ with K-Trap that came out last year and his critically acclaimed, MOBO-winning 2022 LP ‘Alpha Place’, which solidified his unique presence in the UK rap scene.
The music video for ‘Cut Knuckles’ was filmed in Lagos and co-directed by Director K (known for his work with Wizkid and Burna Boy). Set to premiere tomorrow, the visual highlights Knucks' mixed heritage and the cultural complexities that define this new chapter in his career.
