The Warlocks have released their new album ‘The Manic Excessive Sounds Of’ in its entirety.

Fronted by the unstoppable Bobby Hecksher, the band has become a cornerstone of the 21st-century international psych scene. Blending psychedelic songwriting with elements of shoegaze, indie, and more, The Warlocks are now celebrating 25 years since their influential debut ‘Rise & Fall’.

Now available, ‘The Manic Excessive Sounds Of’ sees The Warlocks exploring new concepts. As they continue to evolve their sound, there is a greater emphasis on acoustic guitars, paired with agile single-note leads reminiscent of The Feelies.

As a countercultural force, the band’s indulgences have led them to a place of wisdom—now operating with more intention, The Warlocks remain significantly influential.

      Bobby Hecksher shares...

“This album has a positive vibe and rocks in the best way possible. It revolves around valuing what truly matters—the people around you, the ones you love, and navigating those delicate relationships. I hope this album provides inspiration, motivation, and hope to help steer through the chaotic landscape of our modern world.”

Catch The Warlocks on tour this August, including a performance at London’s O2 Academy Islington on August 6th.
