AIM Independent Music Awards 2025: Nominations Officially Announced

      Additional nominations for this year's AIM Independent Music Awards have been announced.

      The Association of Independent Music, which supports independent artists outside the major label environment, is set to celebrate the underrepresented with the annual AIM Independent Music Awards returning next month.

      The event is scheduled for September 23rd at the Roundhouse in London, and several nominations have been revealed.

      Ezra Collective has garnered two nominations, along with New York newcomers Fcukers, West London's own Hope Tala, and Clash favorite anaiis.

      The shortlist features some prominent names such as Fontaines D.C., Wet Leg, the generational voice Bon Iver, and Maverick Sabre.

      Gee Davy, CEO of AIM, stated: “As we mark the 15th anniversary of The Independent Music Awards, I am inspired by the remarkable creativity emerging from the UK’s independent music scene.

      “Every year, our sector produces music that resonates emotionally and inspires movement – and this year's nominees are no exception. Our panel of tastemakers has curated an impressive selection from the wide range of entries. This serves as just a glimpse into the vast talent and diversity within the community, showcasing the bold artistry that characterizes it.”

The independent sector represents the convergence of culture and commercial success, and our 2025 nominees exemplify this connection.
