Coventry-born rapper Mugun is back with a new single titled ‘Searching For Truth.’
This self-produced track features a breakbeat rhythm that draws from rave and hardcore elements, capturing Mugun’s inner-city roots and the feelings of alienation that accompany being an outsider.
Regarding the new release, Mugun explains: “With ‘Searching For Truth’, I aimed to convey the ambience and the inner-city isolation we experience in Coventry, so wherever you are, you know we all share that feeling.”
A skater and anime fan with a personal style that leans towards cyberpunk, Mugun has always embraced non-conformity. His 2023 EP ‘Walking Street’ introduced an artist whose ability to create crowd-pleasing tracks, Jamaican patois, and the blend of unexpected themes in his lyrics is truly unique.
‘Searching For Truth’ signifies Mugun's evolution as he confidently navigates his artistic landscape, recognizing his talents and asserting his role as a disruptor in the UK underground scene.
