Just before their performance at the Green Man Festival this weekend, the Dundalk band Just Mustard has revealed details about their third album, titled ‘WE WERE JUST HERE’. This announcement follows their return with new music, ‘POLLYANNA’, which is their first release since the 2022 album ‘Heart Under’, launched just weeks ago. The lead single will indeed be included in the upcoming album, which comprises ten tracks and is set to release on October 24th through Partisan Records. The group produced the album themselves at Black Mountain Studio in their hometown, and it was mixed by David Wrench (known for his work with Frank Ocean and FKA Twigs). In conjunction with the album announcement, they have also released the title track—an energetic yet euphoric piece that evokes some similarities to Depeche Mode and their tour mates The Cure—and have scheduled their largest headline concert to date, taking place at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on May 1st next year. Below is the tracklisting for ‘WE WERE JUST HERE’ along with the title track.
