As the release of her new album approaches, King Princess has presented another preview of what to expect from ‘Girl Violence’. Although not the title track, her latest song ‘Girls’ narrates a powerful tale of longing, vulnerability, and the struggle against succumbing to a harmful relationship. This track is part of her upcoming third album, which is set to drop on September 12 via section1, and has previously been teased through recent singles ‘RIP KP’ and ‘Cry Cry Cry’. The album features collaborations with Jake Portrait (known for works with Lil Yachty, Alex G, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra) and Aire Atlantica (noted for SZA's ‘Low’), and will include thirteen tracks.
To add to the excitement, Mikaela has also shared plans for a unique tattoo flash day to coincide with the album's launch. On Saturday, September 13, she will partner with various tattoo shops globally—owned by women and/or members of the LGBTQ+ community—for this event. Each shop will present a selection of custom flash designs inspired by the album, and individuals who get tattooed will be entered into a special raffle for a chance to win signed prints, merchandise, and guestlist access to future King Princess concerts. More information can be found here.
