It's set to be released on November 14th...
Norwegian artist Farao has announced her new album ‘Magical Thinking’.
This project is the solo endeavor of Norwegian producer Kari Jahnsen, an acclaimed composer and electronic artist. After co-founding the disco duo Ultraflex and releasing two highly praised albums, for which she won Best Electronic Album at the Icelandic Music Awards, she is now returning to her Farao identity.
Her upcoming album, ‘Magical Thinking’, marks her first solo release since becoming a mother and will come out on November 14th through marvaða (UK/EU) and Western Vinyl.
The album is introduced by the new single ‘Voice Continues’, which features a fragrance-like quality that plays with both form and formlessness, causing its boundaries to dissolve and merge.
Laraaji collaborates on this track, bringing an inspired, free-flowing creativity to the project.
She expresses her thoughts…
“Collaborating with Laraaji on ‘Voice Continues’ was a dream come true. His music exudes warmth and openness, allowing us to craft a space where our sounds could resonate. Laraaji has a remarkable gift for transforming sound into light, inviting listeners inward while maintaining a sense of expansion.”
