The English group Divorce has released the deluxe edition of their debut album ‘Drive To Goldenhammer’.
Initially launched earlier this year, the album features their lyrical creativity paired with catchy, indie-pop sounds, infused with a touch of Americana.
Acclaimed by critics, an expanded version of the album is now available for streaming.
This surprise release, ‘Drive To Goldenhammer’, comes with three brand-new tracks, as well as some earlier demos from the band.
Additionally, the record includes some BBC Radio sessions, notably their lively rendition of Queen’s ‘I Want To Break Free’.
Singer and guitarist Felix Mackenzie-Barrow shares his thoughts on the deluxe album…
“On our debut album ‘Drive to Goldenhammer’, we aimed to create a temporary sanctuary through the songs and among each other amid the transient nature of our experiences on the road over the past few years. With the ‘Drive to Goldenhammer’ Deluxe Edition, you’ll encounter unreleased songs and demo recordings that found their way to the fringes of Goldenhammer, such as ‘O Calamity’ and ‘Chip’, or ‘Pretty Lights’ and ‘Tiny Animals’. In ‘Wendolene’, we start our journey forward, towards wherever we wish to head.”
