The London duo Good Neighbours has released their new single ‘found u/me’, which is taken from their upcoming debut album. The band performed on the Main Stage at the Reading and Leeds Festivals this past weekend and is providing another preview of their debut album ‘Blue Sky Mentality’, set to be released on 26th September through Polydor. “found u/me is about the transformative moment when you meet someone you wish to spend your life with,” the band described the shimmering love song. “It encapsulates that moment that halts you - a profound clarity that makes you willing to give everything for that one person.” This latest release follows last month’s single ‘Suburbs’ and their January track ‘Ripple’, both of which are included on the album. “‘Blue Sky Mentality’ has been our guiding principle from the very beginning. Our band started as a form of relief - a creative outlet from jobs we found unbearable and personal challenges,” the band reflects on their debut. “In the past year, we embraced that sentiment, crafting our debut album while on the move – in tour bus backseats, hotel rooms, and various locations around the globe. ‘Blue Sky Mentality’ signifies to us the pursuit of light, friendship, and escapism, no matter where you are.” Listen to ‘found u/me’ below, and check out the tracklist for ‘Blue Sky Mentality’ underneath the player.
