It will be released on October 24th...
Hannah Jadagu has announced her upcoming album titled ‘Describe’.
The songwriter’s debut album ‘Aperture’ received widespread acclaim upon its release in 2023, thanks to Hannah’s insightful, revealing, and often whimsical lyrical style.
Eager to progress, Hannah found that the life of a touring musician clashed with her creative process. “I was filled with love and gratitude, but also felt guilty about being away for my work,” she recalled. “Being a musician demands the sacrifice of time–And one thing about me is that I value quality time.”
The new album ‘Describe’ represents a subtle evolution, showcasing an artist who blends the analog with the contemporary, merging her main instrument – the guitar – with a variety of synth textures.
Set to be released on October 24th via Sub Pop, Hannah Jadagu is also scheduled to perform at a Pitchfork London show on November 5th.
The new single ‘Doing Now’ is exceptional – powerful and deliberate, it features Hannah intertwining her lyrics with one of her finest melodies to date.
The music video, directed by Sam Wilbert, features Hannah as “Le Han” at a local basketball league event, where her team emerges victorious in “the big game.”
