Jade LeMac inherently defies categorization, and this is immediately evident in her unique sound and music. At just 21 years old, the Vancouver-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist skillfully merges her creativity with storytelling in a cohesive way.
She embraces her half-Asian heritage and her ties to the 2SLGBTQ+ community, both of which have significantly influenced her ability to blur the lines between musical genres.
In 2021, she released her debut single, “Constellations,” which secured a sync in Tubi’s upcoming 2024 film, Sidelined: The QB and Me. The single has since accumulated over 220 million streams worldwide. In 2023, it also gained a sync in Netflix’s series, My Life with the Walter Boys, with the alternative version, “Constellations-Piano Version,” becoming her most streamed track, amassing over 191 million streams. In 2024, Jade received recognition from GLAAD with a nomination for Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist and released her second EP, Confessions, along with her latest single, “Pink Balloon.”
The year 2025 has been significant for her, featuring a mini headlining tour, appearances at festivals including Lollapalooza on July 31st, upcoming US tour dates opening for Maren Morris, and her new EP set to release this Fall.
