Strandz has unveiled his latest mixtape, ‘Diaspora Dance Music.’
Now available, the mixtape sees the rapper channeling club vibes, with beats that vary from 95-105 BPM. Gradually transitioning into a slower tempo, Strandz weaves an audio landscape that brings his music back to the dance grooves that have always influenced him.
In ‘Diaspora Dance Music,’ listeners can anticipate elements of afrobeat, dancehall, highlife, and hip-hop, especially with a focus on UK styles.
The lead single, ‘Ms.Tery,’ features Strandz collaborating with the talented Mnelia, but there’s plenty more to discover on this unexpectedly well-crafted project.
