The independent British brand has introduced a capsule wardrobe inspired by the '90s, characterized by enduring style and quality craftsmanship.
Founded in the summer of 2018, Manchester-based brand Bound aims to connect contemporary fashion and streetwear through thoughtful designs and impactful releases. With founder Jacob Messer's commitment to high-quality materials, custom fits, and exceptional attention to detail, the brand has established a distinctive presence in the industry, opting to create bold and exciting wardrobes that stand the test of time rather than following fleeting trends.
This week, Bound reveals a new collaboration with the NFL, featuring two of its top franchises—the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles. The collection blends the cultural heritage of both brands, incorporating collegiate American influences into Bound's signature '90s aesthetic. Vintage-inspired workwear jackets, knitwear, jersey sweats, and organic cotton tees evoke the relaxed New York style prevalent during the late JFK Jr. era. Known for his effortless mix of modern tailoring with collegiate sportswear and elevated styles from denim to chunky, high-quality knitwear, these looks come off as both organic and genuinely fashionable.
The partnership with both teams developed naturally; the New York Giants were selected after Bound shot its campaign in the city last year, while the Philadelphia Eagles were included after star quarterback Jalen Hurts was seen wearing the brand. The independent British brand took on the ambitious challenge of reinterpreting NFL branding through its unique perspective and contemporary British design.
“Honoring this partnership was our main focus. It’s not solely for supporters; it’s for anyone who wants to join a community, take part in a meaningful creative process, and witness how a small brand can stand side by side with something as substantial as the NFL,” explains Messer.
The Bound × NFL collection will be launched on the 17th and will be available exclusively at wearebound.co.uk.
