Fast-rising London band Tough Cookie will release their new mixtape ‘The Countryside Is Good For You’ on October 10th.
The four-member group has performed numerous shows across the capital, leaving audiences captivated. Tough Cookie has now announced an important next step—a full mixtape and a swift UK headline tour.
Created in their East London basement studio, ‘The Countryside Is Good For You’ showcases Tough Cookie refining their distinctive brand of pop-infused indie rock.
Scheduled for release on October 10th, the mixtape is described by Tough Cookie as “an honest exploration of moments of vulnerability, disconnection, and escapism; a journey of self-discovery amid chaos, starting from a place of sincerity…”
The lead single ‘Paycheck’ sets the tone—punchy and straightforward, it features clever lyrical humor beneath the sharp guitars, culminating in an anthemic chorus.
