Pem has released her new single, ‘M4 Windy’.
The songwriter’s 2024 EP, ‘cloud work’, offered a poignant exploration of grief, featuring her candid lyrics written in the wake of her father's death.
A piece resonating with empathy and emotional honesty, the EP is now followed by a new single and a series of tour dates.
Pem will be supporting Clash favorite Jasmine.4.t on her upcoming tour and has unveiled the full version of her new single, ‘M4 Windy’.
Out now under Fascination Street Records, ‘M4 Windy’ was inspired by a breezy drive on the M4, evolving from a moment of inspiration into an indie pop gem.
Infectious and lively, the single is paired with a video directed by the French filmmakers Las Favoritas.
Pem shares…
“One day, I was driving on the M4 during a spell of strong winds we had in early 2025. I found myself singing about a tornado and recorded a voice note of my thoughts. My phone saved the note as ‘m4’. Once home, I began writing and had ‘m4 windy’ ready within an hour…”
Tune in now.
